A man, a ghost, an ego, Panama! Whenever you hear someone say "Well, I don't want to boast", you know they are going to become boastful and then say the word "but" and then some more things that are actually boastful. It is rare someone will say "I don't want to boast and I won't." But what about ghosts? Huh? If this ghost is just asserting that is a ghost and is musical, that isn't necessarily boastful as the quality of the music isn't raised as an issue. It's hard to know with ghosts.
